Does medacaid cover dialysis?

my son is disabled due to kidney failure, we were trying to find out how he can afford dialysis

Medicaid covers many things and many things are not covered or only partially covered and it depends on the state in which he resides. Coverage varies from state to state. I think you need to speak to Medicaid customer service. Call the toll-free number on the back of his card and ask, or speak to your son's Social Worker. And if he has a doctor who has advised dialysis (which kind???) then the doctor's office will submit a TAR (treatment authorization request) and this can take a long time to get approved or rejected so you better get started!
