You need to request a 504 Plan be implemented. Go to the JDRF website and got to Diabetes and school tab and there is a ton of valuable information there, one of which being a 504 Plan request letter that you give to the principle, if it is a public school they have to provide someone to do the injections and blood glucose monitoring. There are also sample 504 Plans that go into extreme detail of everything that the school should do for your son!
