Is it normal to have a "loaded" feeling after taking Hydrocodone?

I have been taking Hydrocodone for pain. The frist time i took it I felt sick so I stop, but a friend told me that I should eat before taking it and I wouldn't feel like that anymore. The other day I took one at 9am and another at 2:30pm after the second one I felt funny. My husband said that I was laughing and talking to myself. Is this normal?

Yeah its a morphine derivative so you can feel funny. Something in your stomach will help. It sounds like you dont need to take so much. Id maybe do a half a pill for the second one, if your in pain still.
