Question about bipolar disorder, please answer if you have this or another illne

This is what gets me into trouble. When i get severely depressed or manic in the stages, i can do a number of things. but once i am back to my normal state, i could care less about whatever it was that i did in the manic or depressive state, and simply dont care. How has this affected you? I get worried about suicide cuz i dont want to attempt it, and i know if i did it would be stupid cuz i get over crap and dont care about it so fast, but for that instant, it consumes me. Anyone with bipolar feel this way?

Yeah, I get that way sometimes.

Fortunately, you know you don't want to die. Just remind yourself of that whenever you're feeling depressed... Try doing something else. Get up, take a walk, play a game, take a nap. Something.

I'd recommend getting out more. Try not to do *nothing*, and avoid sitting around in your own head all day.

You should be fine. If the symptoms become problematic, there are medications available to help... But be careful with them. They tend to screw you up more than help... In my experience.
